After its Success in Kuwait, Qatar and UAE
“The Gulf Innovation” Inaugurates its Program, Preparation of HR Expert in Muscat end of Next March
After the unprecedented success in Kuwait, Qatar and Al Ain and Dubai Emirates of the UAE, and after being reorganized in Doha and Riyadh this year, the Gulf Innovation inaugurates the HR Expert Preparation Program in the Omani capital, Muscat. The training program will be conducted during the period 27-31 March within a set of improved programs delivered by the Golf Innovation in Oman during the year 2010.
In this occasion, the Gulf Innovation Board Chairman, Dr. Tareq Al Suwaidan, said that this program is one of the advanced applied programs that touch upon several issues through 3 modules. The program modules deal with excellence, advancement, and sustainable growth in the context of the economic regional and international changes that face individuals and companies and require building professional capacity to deal with the consequences of the financial crises and bringing the companies’ performance to the safe side.
Dr. Suwaidan pointed out that the program, which focuses on the HR development, confirms the increasing belief of management and training practitioners that individuals are the main pillar of development. It is individuals who plan, think, analyze and face the fierce competition in an ever changing world. Dr. Al Suwaidan added that the program takes into consideration the international criteria related to the capacity development of practitioners involved in this strategic area that effectively contributes to achieving the goals and strategies of modern organizations.
Concerning the program details, the international HR expert, Dr. Ahmed Housny pointed out that the program is composed of 3 parts. The first part, which will be conducted during the period 27-31 March, is entitled “HR management between the traditional and the modern strategic concepts”. It focuses on the effectiveness of HR, the new roles of HR and the modern strategic thinking of HR management.
He added that the second part is composed of two modules. The first module addresses job design, salaries and wages management and job analysis and description. The second module deals with the main methods for job analysis, while the last part of the program, composed of 4 modules, addresses employment, training, career path planning. The first module of the last part presents the three aspects of employment, namely: attraction, testing and recruitment. The second module deals with training and job development based on job competencies. The third module touches upon planning and career path development, while the fourth module sheds light on the strategies of performance management and evaluation. He also indicated that the program includes 3 working projects each of which is related to a part of the program.
Dr. Housny pointed out that, for the first time, this applied program includes the addition of a set of modern topics that match with the modern requirements of organizations such as: (i) the basics of preparing a guide and a dictionary of job competencies; (ii) mechanisms of testing, personal interviews based on competencies, mechanisms of training based on job competencies; (iii) DACUM concepts mechanisms and presentation of some international and Arab experiences in the area of HR as criteria aiming at activating the HR management in the context of modern challenges.
On his part, the Director General, Ahmed Al Shurbagi, pointed out that the program that was successful in Kuwait, Qatar and UAE will be launched in Muscat, the capital of Oman. The program will take into account the requirements of institutions and individuals and answers some of the questions that preoccupy decision makers in a professional and independent way. He highlighted that the Gulf Innovation, in its endeavor to create HR capacities and skills, is trying in this program to introduce the skills, knowledge, and tools required for enhancing the capacity of HR management specialists.
